AthleteMonitoring incorporates the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the STROBE extension for sport injury and illness surveillance (STROBE-SIIS), sport-specific extensions, and the 2023 IOC Consensus Statement on the Surveillance of Athlete Mental health Symptoms and Disorders. The platform has been created in partnership with the Oslo Sport Trauma Research Center, an IOC Research Centre for Prevention of Injury and Protection of Athlete Health, and a FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence. It incorporates evidence-based methods, is validated for use with youth, amateur, Olympic and professional athletes.
